1. General Information

If you're in the U18s or U16s and interested in playing senior Saturday matches, please get in touch with the Club Captains for more information: Robin Aird for the men, and Ann Hart or Kath Fry for the ladies.

*Parents/guardians must stay on site during U8s training sessions for safeguarding reasons.
**Older boys and girls will be invited to join adult training if considered appropriate by the coaches.

At the end of training, parents or guardians must ensure that children are picked up promptly and have a backup plan in case of any issues. Club coaches and volunteers often have matches or other commitments, which may be disrupted if they are required to stay behind to supervise a child who has not been collected.

Age Groups
In Line with the England Hockey Board Junior Competitions Framework the qualifying date is
for them to be under the age on 31st August for each age group in Juniors, i.e., it is based on
school year. For the 2026/27 Season:
U8 & U6 - Years 1, 2 & 3, Born 1st September 2018 to 31st August 2021
U10 - Years 4 & 5, Born 1st September 2016 to 31st August 2018
U12 - Years 6 & 7, Born 1st September 2014 to 31st August 2016
U14 - Years 8 & 9, Born 1st September 2012 to 31st August 2014
U16 - Years 10 & 11, Born 1st September 2010 to 31st August 2012
U18 - Years 12 & 13, Born 1st September 2008 to 31 August 2010

Annual subscription

New members may attend two trial training sessions, following which, annual subscription is payable.

U8s, U10s, U12s £140 1st child; £130 2nd, 3rd, 4th child - No Tournament or Match Fees
U14s, U16s, U18s £120 1st child; £110 2nd, 3rd, 4th child - Match fees £8.50/junior match; £9.00/senior match

Registration

Please note: All Junior members (under 18 on 1st September 2026) need to be registered with the club by their parents or guardians before the season starts.

Please make sure all the information you provide about yourself and your child is complete and up to date. Coaches will use this information to get in touch if there’s an emergency.
