A great performance by Ciren 5’s, starting to find a bit of rhythm. Throughout the team, the mixture of old and young showing glimpses of what can be achieved. Joint men of the match went to Jimmy Thompson and Ed Nichol, Jimmy for some great interceptions and breaking from defence and Ed for his composure and finishing with 2 x goals.
Cirencester settled quickly in the 1st half, moving the ball around and making it hard for Lansdown to find their game. Goals came from Clifford, Ed and Paul Dillon. Half time and 3-0 to the good.
Lansdown came back into the game in the second half, sneaking a consolation goal, before Ciren scored again confirming Cirencester’s 2nd win of the season.
