A fantastic performance from the boys in their first age group game of the season with good movement and passing cutting through the opposition defence. 4-0 up within 15 minutes with goals from Edward Pearce-Smith, Charles Thomasin-Foster and 2 for Sam Cloke.
A breakaway goal for Marlborough seemed to knock the confidence a little and the half ended at 4-1.
Goals came quickly after half time, Charles Thomasin-Foster getting his second, followed by a Marlborough response, then a second for Edward Pearce-Smith, before another Marlborough goal. Again the game settled down, but following a flowing move down the right, the ball ended up with Dylan McKenzie who swept the ball home from the top of the circle. Thomas Haden bagged the final goal after a goal mouth scramble.
Player of the match awarded to William Lambert who controlled the midfield throughout.
Also a special thanks to Robert Pearce-Smith & Monty Hargitay who stepped up from U12's for the day.
