Ciren L3s v Witney

At the beginning of the 1st half Ciren's defence did some great work repelling Witney's attack, stopping several shots on goal. As Ciren started to get into the match there were some good passes within the midfield and forwards, with both Izzie Muir and Millie Goodinson making some good runs. After a period of sustained pressure and a couple of short corners Ciren came to the end of the 1st half with 3 goals, scored by Millie Midwinter-Lean, Rachel Seymour and Lou Pettit with assistance from Izzie Muir.

During the 2nd half Ciren's defence were called into action again to ensure that a clean sheet was maintained, and the midfield and forwards maintained their attach but were unfortunate not to score

A great start to the season which we will hopefully maintain. Izzie Muir and Alice Sleeman got joint Dame and Lou Pettit got Dippy.
