Great effort by Ciren Under 16s down in Bristol, just coming out on the wrong side of the result having taken the lead in the first half through Sasha who got her shot away early to beat the keeper. Crucially Old Bristolians equalised in the dying moments of the first half which set the girls back slightly.

We were hamstrung by a couple of the team pulling out before the day so playing with only 11 players and additionally missing a few stalwarts was always going to be challenging for the girls. Tired legs meant as the game wore on it became more difficult to track back and we ceded a couple of goals as a result. Coach Mark was pleased with the performance and effort shown and we look forward to the next match in two weeks' time as well as focusing on a few work ons at training.
