Gray Vinnicombe (Viz), Steve Foster (Foz) and John Partridge (Phez) won gold at the Over 65 Area Tournament held in Folkestone playing for the West. Five wins and two losses (35 minute matches) over the weekend was enough to beat the Midlands into second place and last year's winners, the North West, into third.

Scorching weather and the superb Three Hills multi-sports facility, home to Folkestone Optimists HC, made the weekend a really fantastic event. Anyone in CDC reading this please can we have the same in Cirencester.
