3's v 4's

After several line up changes through the week, Ciren 3's started with what must have been one of the youngest ever adult teams, 8 players under 18, with the youngest just 13. The boys started brightly, moving the ball with purpose and creating early chances. Adam Marriott and George Beal causing problems for the 4's defence with their movement. Behind these 2 Julian Shirnia was supported by Will Hulme and Ben Grinnell, who between them played with great composure . 3 goals in the first half, 2 from George Beal and the other from Adam Marriott.

The talk at half time was to protect the ball, re-cycle possession and look to create spaces behind the 4's defence. However the 4's had other ideas and pushed higher, creating and scoring 3 goals in reply. It was late on when the winner was scored
