Cirencester Hockey Club is in desperate need of Graded Umpires at all levels above 14 years of age
The club is struggling at the moment to meet umpiring needs. If we do not supply umpires a team will lose by 5 – 0 whatever the score and the club fined. ALL teams should have at least 2/3 graded umpires in their squads, just in case. (The more we get assessed the less we ask!)

AS FROM JAN 2019 THOSE TEAMS WHO SUPPLY UMPIRES TO THE POT WILL TAKE PREFERENCE WHEN ALOCATION IS MADE WEEKLY

Players, Ex players, Parents, Coaches, Students WE NEED YOU!

The Club will pay £15 per match, so if you already have played this pays your match fee and buys your drinks!

Next EHA Course Sunday 18th November Balcarras School, Cheltenham , places will be limited, so please book online early) deadline 7th Nov another on 25th Nov at Evesham!

Book through EHA Pay the £50 fee (this will be reimbursed by the club after successful grading and 3 matches, you also get whistle and cards from the EHA

Take online Rules test (Common Sense and not hard and questions repeated till pass!).

Attend Coaching Seminars and Umpire Coaching matches with HGWHUA assessor, Covers position, understanding, whistling , working with other umpire, duties and Player/match Management.

Various games to practise on: Badgers, Vixens, U14 etc as well as Veterans and friendlies.

Assessed match, usually a Sunday or Veterans game by John Cull HGWHUA Assessor and Umpire Coach
